The Serene Zen Garden Apartment is located on the second floor of the Residence Hall of the Zen Center with its own private entrance, on an acre of lovely grounds. A cast-iron gas stove warms the living room on cool evenings in addition to the wall-mounted minisplits which heat and cool the apartment as needed.
Explore the flower gardens, fruit trees and vegetable garden or sit in the courtyard watching the birds play in the fountain.
Washer and dryer are across the courtyard in a shared laundry room.

The Serene Zen Garden Apartment is half a block from the Ashland Bike Path, which offers a pleasant 30-minute walk into the heart of Ashland. Bicycle rentals, river rafting services, farmer’s markets, hot springs, spa services, yoga classes, organic farms, wineries, restaurants, movie theaters, fitness club, and coffee shops are all moments from your doorstep.
Ashland’s finest treasures are just 7 minutes away by car: the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Lithia Park, and the Ashland downtown plaza. Additionally, hiking trails in the woods overlooking Ashland, or around the mountain lakes of the surrounding Siskiyou Mountains are always beckoning.
