Apartment #3 is a 476 sq. ft. furnished studio apartment with a private entrance, off-street parking, skylight, heating and air conditioning, high-speed internet, shared laundry, and shared kitchen. Located on the second floor on an acre of lovely grounds. The hardwood floor, wood accents and simple decor all offer a welcoming sanctuary.

Living Area

Vista views and a deep skylight over the living space create a light and airy room. Full sized bed has an adjustable platform to raise the head or foot of the bed. Love seat and armchair to appreciate the views out west and north windows. Table with drop leaf can double as a desk. Roku TV provided. The studio is equipped with an electric kettle, microwave and mini-fridge.

Kitchen Privileges

Apartment #3 has full kitchen privileges in the Zen Center kitchen of the Residence Hall. There you may use the double convection oven, six-burner range and other useful kitchen appliances: Crockpot, Instapot, Cuisinart, KitchenAid stand mixer, Vitamix and more. Storage in the pantry, refrigerator and freezer are yours.

Laundry

Washer and dryer are across the courtyard in a shared laundry room.

Ashland Zen Center is a few blocks from the Ashland Bike Path, which offers a pleasant 30- minute walk into the heart of Ashland. Bicycle rentals, river rafting services, farmer’s markets, hot springs, spa services, yoga classes, organic farms, wineries, restaurants, movie theaters, fitness club, and coffee shops are all moments from your doorstep.

Ashland’s finest treasures are just 7 minutes away by car: the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Lithia Park, and the Ashland downtown plaza. The studio is half a block from a Rogue Valley Transit District bus stop which loops through downtown Ashland and connects to Talent, Phoenix and Medford. Additionally, hiking trails in the woods overlooking Ashland, or around the mountain lakes of the surrounding Siskiyou Mountains are always beckoning.
