Apartment #2 is a 672 sq. ft. light-filled, furnished apartment with private entrance, off-street parking, skylight, high-speed internet, living area with sofa-bed. Fully equipped kitchen and full bath. A cast-iron gas stove warms the living room on cool evenings in addition to the wall-mounted heater/air conditioner. Located on the second floor of the Residence Hall of the Zen Center on an acre of lovely grounds. Wood accentss and simple decor offer a welcoming environment.
Living Area
Enjoy the flat screen TV, cast-iron gas stove, heating and air conditioning, plenty of seating on the sofa and love seat, hi-speed internet and luxuriously thick carpet. The sofa converts to a full-sized bed. A small desk and chair are tucked into a nook for a convenient workspace.
Full Kitchen
Kitchen area features a full-sized refrigerator, induction cooktop, counter-top oven and microwave. Enjoy the sky and mountain view to the east from the kitchen.
Restorative Rest
The bedroom has an airy skylight over the queen bed.
Bathroom
Spacious and clean, light-filled bathroom has frosted privacy windows and shower.
Laundry
Washer and dryer access is in the shared laundry room located across the courtyard.
Ashland Zen Center is half a block from the Ashland Bike Path, which offers a pleasant 30-minute walk into the heart of Ashland. Bicycle rentals, river rafting services, farmer’s markets, hot springs, spa services, yoga classes, organic farms, wineries, restaurants, movie theaters, fitness club, and coffee shops are all moments from your doorstep.
Ashland’s finest treasures are just 7 minutes away by car: the Ashland Shakespeare Festival, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, Lithia Park, and the Ashland downtown plaza. Additionally, hiking trails in the woods overlooking Ashland, or around the mountain lakes of the surrounding Siskiyou Mountains are always beckoning.
