NEXT BEGINNER'S RETREAT

Saturday, January 22

I'm pretty busy. Can I practice Zen Buddhism in the middle of this full, engaged life?

What is the purpose of sitting zazen?

What should I do or study if I want to explore Zen Buddhism more deeply?

Do you have a questions like this? What is your question?

Bring your curiosity and Beginner's Mind to Ashland Zen Center to explore the basic foundations of Zen Buddhism in a small group with a Zen teacher. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Instruction in zazen (seated meditation) and kinhin (walking meditation) will be provided.

Basic registration in 2022 is $35 and a vegetarian lunch is included. To make an impactful offering you may choose a Sustaining registration of $50. Pay when you register below, or send a check to Ashland Zen Center, 740 Tolman Creek Road, Ashland OR 97520.

The Beginner's Retreat cohort will be small for COVID safety. Vaccination required. We will wear masks while inside.
